My Role - Editor

My role as the editor involves a variety of creative imagination which needs to be then put into practical to create the end product, this will be my groups doucmentary. Editing is the last part of the process in any making of the film, i will have to place several shots of interviewes together in a sequence using Final Cut Pro. I will have to place several cut aways as well as newspaper articles relating to The Public Drinking Ban within the timeline. This is a very lengthy process but when having all thr shots its very easy. I have chosen my role as the editor as i have been the editor for the past AS production and believed that i have built and developed my skills and creativity. I believe that this role explores and challenges my creativity. Furthermore choosing this role will be a challenge to which im looking forward to as i have never edited a documentary. I'am hoping that i able to be as successful as i was in the AS production and bring forward my ideas to produce an accurate end product.
